Human Rights Campaign Foundation Recognizes Continued Inclusive Workplace Policies and Practices

LPL Financial’s commitment to fostering inclusive workplaces where employees can thrive has earned the company the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation’s top honor, the Equality 100 Award: Leader in LGBTQ+ Workplace Inclusion, for a fifth year. The results of the 2023-2024 Corporate Equality Index (CEI) showcase how U.S.-based companies are promoting LGBTQ+ friendly workplace policies in the U.S. and abroad.

LPL received the Equality 100 Award, satisfying all the CEI’s detailed criteria which rates companies under four central pillars: non-discrimination policies across business entities, equitable benefits for LGBTQ+ workers and their families, supporting an inclusive culture, and corporate social responsibility.

LPL actively cultivates diversity and an inclusive environment for the LGBTQ+ community through initiatives such as the LGBTQ+ Client Community and the Pride Alliance Employee Resource Group (ERG). The LGBTQ+ Client Community serves as a platform for financial advisors to learn about new resources and connect with peers who share similar backgrounds. Together, advisors foster inspiration and accelerate professional growth.

The Pride Alliance ERG provides LGBTQ+ employees and their allies with a supportive workplace community to make meaningful connections with colleagues and build lasting relationships that can impact their lives and careers, ultimately strengthening their ties within the organization. The group saw its membership grow by 40% in 2023.

“Embracing diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging is integral to our organizational culture and mission, and we are proud to be recognized for a fifth year by HRC for our support of our LGBTQ+ community in the workplace,” said Sara Dadyar, LPL managing director and chief human resources officer. “We are committed to attracting, developing, and engaging the best talent in the industry, and creating a sense of belonging for all employees. We believe that diversity and culture are two pillars of our winning formula for advisors and institutions, their clients, and our employees and communities.”
